Conservation and restoration work on the 18th-century “R. Zandonai” municipal theatre, Rovereto

Built in 1783 and part of the history of the town of Rovereto, the theatre has undergone significant restoration work over the years. Our project, which ran from 2010 to 2014, was modified at several points during the process, in order to deal with the problems that gradually arose during the increasingly complex operations aimed at guaranteeing maximum quality and efficacy in terms of technical innovation, set construction and fire safety. These phases required the coordination of up to 39 firms at the same time.

Royal Palace and the Marciana Library, Venice

Research project for the study and analysis of aspects related to the effects of fire and realistic statistically probable that may affect the historical monumental complex of the Royal Palace, and the Marciana Library.

Old Procuratie, Assicurazioni Generali, Venice

The Old Procuratie are one of the oldest and most impressive of Venice. The refurbishment project includes the entire monumental historic building Procuratie Vecchie in Piazza San Marco for commercial and business. The role of Areatecnica was to provide a detailed design of all MEP services, including engineering Fire solutions.

Conservative restoration Palazzo Poste, Cortina d’Ampezzo

Restoration of the historic Palazzo Poste, designed by Edoardo Gellner for the 1956 Olympics in Cortina. The project included the preservation and renovation of the facades, from concrete surfaces exposed face, the plasters, the stone cladding.

New Campus, Cini Foundation, Island of San Giorgio Maggiore, Venice

Renovation of the former mechanical workshop and facilities to be used in new residence for scholars and researchers in the island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice. The building is subject to historical and architectural obligation.

Redevelopment of Martyrs Square and Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, Belluno

Competition project for the redevelopment of Martyrs Square and Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, for designing kiosks newsagent Via Matteotti and Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II and the terrace of the historic cafes and Deon Manin. 3rd place.

Hospital SS. Giovanni e Paolo, Venice

Adaptation of the hospital to structural, technological, organizational and fire safety regulatory requirements, and preservation of historical and artistic heritage of monumental pieces.

Villa Contarini, Piazzola sul Brenta

A large sixteenth-century villa used as a museum, one of the leading facilities on the cultural scene of north-east Italy. The challenge presented here was to exploit the potential of the building to full, in all its functions, by adopting effective fire safety engineering solutions.
