18 Apr Work begins on the construction of the last mile of the Treviso-Ostiglia cycle
It was inaugurated Friday morning, at 11.30, the construction of the cycle route “Greentour” between Portegrandi Quarto d’Altino and Caposile, the construction manager and safety coordinator will be the eng. Gianluca Vigne.
The last mile is from airport road to the cycle underpass which connects via Bernardi and so XV July.
The the time schedule provides for 115 days of time to complete the work that has two underpasses, respectively for the ring road and the customs area / ecology center and a beautiful iron bridge, to recall the classic rail, to step over it safely by Paludetti. In addition is provided a beautiful shade that delimit the bike lane in the section crossing the area customs / ecocentro, restoring the extension of “widespread forest”, the path characteristics such as to induce him to be defined as “breath road.”
At the ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by the President of the Veneto Region, Luca Zaia, the mayor of Venice, Luigi Brugnaro, and the Mayor of Quarto d’Altino, Claudio Grosso.
